What Is "We are Mass Effect"?

Throughout my life, I've discovered many fictional universes that have, in one way or another, left a lasting mark on me. However, if I had to name the ones that have been the most important, without hesitation I would point to Star Wars, The Witcher, and, of course, Mass Effect.
With Mass Effect, it was love at first sight: science fiction, aliens, worldbuilding, politics, BioWare... All the ingredients were there to make me fall for the saga—and, well, I did. Ever since that summer of 2016, Mass Effect has been a constant in my life. It's always been something that inspired me to create, research, and share. It's the kind of story that, when you finish it, all you want to do is crawl into bed and stay there, thinking about it, until the next day. It's an experience I wish I could live again for the first time. But I'm grateful it happened when it did—back when I was a chaotic teenager, still uncertain about which direction to take toward adulthood.
I've always felt like I owe something to Mass Effect. All the hours of joy, the emotional journeys, and the countless experiences it has given me—it's something I've always wanted to give back to. That's why, after years of pondering, I've decided to create "We are Mass Effect": a project dedicated to reflecting on, analyzing, and reporting everything that surrounds the franchise from BioWare and Electronic Arts.
This project is nothing more—and nothing less—than a love letter. My way of saying thank you to everyone who helped bring Mass Effect to life. This is my small contribution, my humble attempt to give something back to a universe that has given me so much.
Because in the end, we are all part of something greater. We are explorers, storytellers, fans—and yes, we are Mass Effect.
